Our Terminalia and Musizi trees are showing growth rates up to 3.5m per annum, with Mvule slightly less. These high growth rates are in response to the optimum growth conditions in Uganda, allowing year-round photosynthesis except for Mvule which is dormant for one month/pa.  This allows carbon capture rates up to 5 times that of trees in the UK.
